CAFÉ MANAGER (full-time)
This is a hands on role and the Cafe Manager is required to manage all front of house staff on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running of the cafe. A friendly approach and excellent customer service skills are required, as well as an ability to supervise colleagues in order to maximise efficiency and create a harmonious atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike. Clear communication is key, as well as a friendly and approachable manner.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining very high cleaning and hygiene standards
- HACCP record keeping
- Weekly stock management
- Weekly rostering
- Cash management
- Customer care & complaint handling
- Basic HR management
Our cafe is a busy but very friendly and nice place to work. We open Tuesday - Sunday 9.30-4pm for breakfast and lunch service as well as serve coffee/hot drinks/cakes etc.
We operate a roster system with various shifts between 9am - 4.30pm and the maximum number of shifts is five per week.
We also provide:
- paid breaks
- free meals and coffee/hot drinks on duty
- 20 days holidays plus 10 bank holidays pro-rata
- staff discount in our shop
- no split shifts or evening shifts
Remuneration is in line with experience.
